Venters Superior Speech Solutions (VS3) is a private pediatric and adult therapy practice located in the Richmond–Rosenberg, Texas area. VS3 specializes in speech, language, voice, feeding, swallowing, and communication therapy for children, teens, and adults.

Our mission is to empower individuals of all ages to communicate with confidence, eat safely, and participate more fully in daily life. We provide high-quality, individualized therapy that addresses each client’s unique needs while supporting families and caregivers every step of the way.

VS3 provides pediatric therapy for children from birth to age 20, including support for speech delays, language disorders, Autism, Apraxia of Speech, ADHD, sensory processing challenges, feeding difficulties, and oral-motor needs.
​
We also provide adult speech therapy services for individuals with aphasia, Parkinson’s disease, voice changes, dysarthria, cognitive-communication difficulties, swallowing concerns, and communication changes related to stroke or neurological conditions.
Founded by a certified speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience, VS3 uses evidence-based intervention, culturally responsive care, and a whole-person approach to help clients build meaningful communication, feeding confidence, independence, and improved quality of life.

As an ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist, LaTonya has honed her craft to deliver unparalleled care and support to individuals of all ages.
Education forms the bedrock of her proficiency, having earned her Master's degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from the prestigious University of California. Armed with this academic prowess, LaTonya has accumulated extensive experience across a variety of professional environments, positively impacting lives in clinical, hospital, home health, and educational settings.

Children may benefit from a speech-language or feeding evaluation if they demonstrate:

Limited babbling or vocal play

Not responding consistently to their name

Limited use of gestures, such as pointing, waving, or reaching

Limited eye contact or difficulty engaging with others

Fewer than 50 words by age 2

Not combining two words by age 2

Difficulty following simple directions

Frequent frustration when trying to communicate

Speech that is difficult for familiar or unfamiliar listeners to understand

Limited vocabulary or difficulty using sentences

Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Red Flags

A feeding or swallowing evaluation may be recommended if a child demonstrates:

Extreme picky eating or a very limited diet

Refusal of certain textures or entire food groups

Gagging, coughing, or choking during meals

Difficulty chewing foods
-
Pocketing food in the cheeks
-
Frequent vomiting or discomfort during meals

Mealtimes lasting longer than 30 minutes

Poor weight gain or concerns with nutrition

Stressful mealtimes for the child or family
Adult Swallowing Red Flags

A swallowing evaluation may be recommended if an adult experiences:

Coughing or choking when eating or drinking

Food or liquid “going down the wrong way”

Food feeling stuck in the throat

Difficulty swallowing pills

Wet or gurgly voice after eating or drinking

Unexplained weight loss
-
Avoidance of certain foods or liquids

Recurrent pneumonia or respiratory infections
